Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail
Arizona · United States
We will descend down into the flood plain to come up close and personal with the most endangered forest in North America, the Cottonwood Willow Gallery Forest which lines the Santa Cruz river along the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail. This is also prime bird-watching country with the appearance of birds from Mexico that you can see nowhere else in the United States.
