The nostalgic music and colorful rides of this 1988 theme park provide the backdrop for the ordinary lives of Season 2's new characters [31, 32]. Before they ever donned their numbers, Kang No-eul (Guard 011) and Park Gyeong-seok (Player 246) worked here as park employees [31, 33]. The juxtaposition of a place built for childhood joy and the deadly roles they would later play adds a haunting layer to the park's vibrant atmosphere [31, 32]. Today, you can explore the same grounds, including a 'Squid Game collaboration zone' that has been established to commemorate its role in the series [32, 34].
