We will pass by the University of Cartagena (anecdotes) and Calle del Tablon, where is indicated a house as the most important of the contemporary poet that the city has had: Luis Carlos López, better known as "El tuerto López", alluding to strabismus of the right eye. Brother of Domingo López Escauriaza, founder of a famous newspaper El Universal, Gabo met Tuerto in that newsroom and although they did not have a close relationship, in the writer's memoirs it is evidenced that he was a character who had a powerful impact on him due to his particular way of seeing life.
